RAW ArT PRESS was born from the energy of writers sharing their writing with me and each other, which, in turn, inspired each of us to pursue our own vision. Out of this sharing a community of poets and prose writers developed. Raw Art stands for the idea of meeting what is in front of you directly, paying attention and presenting your lived experience in such a way that others feel that the everyday is seen, not only in a new way, but often “as it is.” Raw Art feels simple, yet it is the wellspring to release our interior sight. RAW ArT PRESS has sought out and is open to writers who write from their own lived experience.
